An Ellwood City tradition continued Friday, May 4 at Sons of Italy Hall. For the 71st consecutive year Lincoln High School juniors, seniors and their guests enjoyed the after prom party provided by the Ellwood City After Prom Committee. The prom king and queen of the night were, King Jarrett Lubich and Queen Grace Blake.
DJ Ken Raisor of Sabre David Entertainment provided the music for dancing. Other entertainment included Caricature Artist Richard DiGia, a photo booth provided by Clark’s Studio, the close-up magic of Dr. Bradley Brown and Hypnotist, Robert Mullins.
In addition, there was plenty of food for everyone including walking tacos, chicken nuggets, pizza, sandwich rings, fruit/ vegetable trays, a cupcake bar and plenty of beverages.
Through generosity of patrons, the event has always been provided at no cost to the students. Making this year’s event possible many local organizations, businesses, groups and people made generous donations to the after prom.
Throughout the night prizes were given away to all seniors present the presents were donated by local businesses.
Special thanks go to the Lincoln High School administration, the SOI Club, Dr. Brad Brown, Dr. David Spokane and the Ellwood City Police Department.

ECASD has nothing to do with the after prom! It is put on by individuals through out the community who care about keeping the children safe and this years president, Stacey Richards, out did herself and her team should be thanked!!
Thank you for the kind words, Colleen! It really is a community effort! The local businesses are amazing & very supportive every year! Without their support, we couldn’t do what we do for the kids! This year we had some new faces helping too! We welcome anyone who would like to help… young to old!!! We all need to continue the tradition & keep kids safe! Lastly, the LHS students were excellent ! Thanks to these fine young ladies & men!!!
