Philip A. Yoho, 78, of Mallory Rd., Wampum peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 9, 2017.
Born October 3, 1938 in the home he passed in, Philip was the son of the late Harvey and Pearl Kelly Yoho. He was married for 53 years to Lorena Ilene Weatherby Yoho who passed away April 12, 2012.
Philip loved growing up on the family farm. During high school, he won the Keystone Farmer Award. Following graduation, he was a dairy farmer for 20 years. He also worked and retired from Medusa Cement Company. Philip was an avid outdoorsman, he loved to hunt, trap and cut firewood. He cherished time spent with his family.
Survivors include a son, Jeff (Darlene) Yoho; daughter, Stacey (Robert) Krisuk, both of Wampum; brother, Russel (Virginia) Yoho of Mayville, NY; 5 grandchildren, Tia Pennington-Curry, Ashlee Stankovich, Kalene Bowser, Jeffrey Yoho, and Jimmy Pennington; 4 great grandchildren, Izabella, Brady, Everrett, and Stella.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and two sisters, Eleanor Yoho Davenport and Elsie Yoho Macri.
Per Philip’s instructions, no public services will be held. Private family service was held and interment took place in Graceland Cemetery.
