George E. Robinson, 75, of Freedom PA (New Sewickley Twp.) passed away peacefully on Sunday afternoon , May 7 2017 at UPMC McCandless Hospital, after a short illness.
He was born in Marshall Township, Allegheny Co., on December 23 1941 to the late George E. and G. Naomi Holsinger Robinson Jr.
He was employed for many years as a truck driver for various sanitation and refuse companies in the area.
George enjoyed hunting and fishing and truck and tractor pulls.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Gladys E. Lindsay Robinson, as well as by his two favorite dogs, Little Bit and Black Jack.
He is also survived by one brother, Gary (and Bonna) Robinson and their family, of Marshall Twp. PA. as well as by his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jim and Jean Lindsay Price of Enon Valley; and other nieces and nephews including Jim, Tammy, and Mike Price; Pam Mibuck, and Roxanne Dickson, and their spouses.
Friends will be received from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. on Wednesday, May 10 2017 in the TURNER FUNERAL HOME, 500 Sixth Street, Ellwood City.
Services will be conducted on Thursday, May 11 at 11:00 A.M. at TURNERS. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery, North Sewickley Twp.
