Ellwood City Historical Society Share Memories Event

Do you remember the neighborhood “Mom and Pop” stores in Ellwood City? Have you any stories, experiences or tales of a local “Mom and Pop” stores in Ellwood City Area? Do you remember paying the bill on paydays, selling pop bottles there for two cents, meeting the neighbors, buying penny candy, sampling the produce, and maybe, even forgetting to pay for something.

Well, Louise Carroll from the Ledger will be at the Ellwood City Area Historical Society, 310 Fifth Street, Ellwood City on Thursday March 23 from 1 to 4 pm to listen to your stories of these experiences.  Stop in and hear how many stores were here. Light refreshments will be served.
