Pudue LaCava hosted the 1954 Lincoln Class “Nite at the Movies” committee at her Mt. Vernon Drive home at 2p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16.
Changing schedules, a business session was first held, Ilene Gardner conducted the session on behalf of the co-chairmen. Financial reports were given by Clemmy Sirimarco. Fund raising reports were presented by James Gillespie. LaCava reported on the flyer/reservation forms that were mailed to all class members. She has received a number of paid reservations in response. Any questions or comments may be directed to her. Pinky Maielli, menu chairman, advised on suggested foods and will relate to the caterer.
Gardner reviewed 0n the decor that is being assembled and she presented further suggestions to enhance the movies theme. It is anticipated that class members will participate in dress and character for the July 16 event.
The next monthly meeting will be held on Thursday, March 16 at the new time of 2p.m. at the LaCava residence.
The session ended with a committee provided luncheon in honor of LaCava’s birthday. Gardner provided a cake in her honor and served the meal.
