February Agenda Meeting Brief

Yesterday held the first of two monthly reoccurring council meetings, next week the following items will be voted on by council:

 

Visitors

Dave McQuaid took a brief moment to stand in front of council to express his thanks for their active work on the proposed bike trail.

 

Finance

Exonerate tax collector for collection and deposit of 2016 tax duplicate

 

Public Works/Utilities

Payment- Charter Machine Company $7839.10, belt replacement at WWTP; paid from the sewage fund

 

Parks/Recreation

EC Community Enrichment- Earth Day Celebration, April 22 from 10-2p.m.

EC Community Enrichment- Storytelling Festival, September 16 from 4-7:30p.m.

EC Ledger 10K Race- use locker room @ pool and parking lot, July 1, 7a.m. – 11:30a.m

Arts, Crafts, Foods Festival- Use Ewing Park and all facilities June 26-July 3

Easter Egg Hunt Committee- use Ewing Park, April 8

EC Girls Softball- Lil Angels Field 4/1 – 8/1, Su-Sat 9a-dark, Rosanna Plgrd 4/1 – 7/31, Su 9a-dark.

EC Soccer- use soccer field

2017 Standardized Billing Rates

Employment- Code Enforcement Officer

Employment- Clerk I, full time $17.30 (80% first year, $13.84)

Travel Request- Jude Dici, PSAB Conference, Hershey PA, $1022.05

Agreement- Conduent for the extraction of all data files under the AS400 system into a Microsoft Access database; $3500 initial + $1750 each additional extraction

 

Community Development/Buildings

Award Bid- Sale of L&N building (the bid was made by Worksite Medical in the amount of $375,000.)

Picnic shelter reservations will begin on the fourth Monday in February (Feb. 27) for Borough residents and beginning on the fourth Monday in March (Mar. 27) for non-Borough residents.
