5 Charged After this Mornings Shooting
A robbery and shooting occurred on Loop Street on August 30, which resulted in five suspects charged for involvement.
This recent police report happened on Nov. 11, when two brothers, Zachary and Joseph Pounds of Ellwood caused a disturbance at Hazel Manor. The two brothers have been charged, Zachary is facing felony charges and Joseph is facing misdemeanor charges, view the charges here.

This incident occurred on Nov. 5, after a man from Moon Township was drunk driving and fleeing police officers, he crashed into Lincoln High School’s front steps.
Woman Leaves Child in 90 Degree Heat
After Rebecca Lynn Irwin, 31, of Ellwood, was caught stealing from an Ellwood store, she hid the evidence, and her baby, behind a bush while being questioned by police.
Man has Stand-Off with Local and State Police
According to the police report, Ellwood City officers received a call that a man was threatening to shoot himself and would shoot anyone that intervened.
