Dylan Speicher connected on a school record 8 3-pointers Wednesday night to propel the Panthers to a 76-61 victory over Summit Academy.
Speicher finished with 32 points on 12 made field goals on the evening and broke a school shooting record in the process. The 5’10” senior guard received recognition on social media by former Panther Mike Shoaf who was one of three former Panthers who made seven 3-pointers in a game.

Speicher and fellow Panther junior Ty Thellman combined to make nine 3-pointers in the first half alone that put Riverside comfortably in front 41-19 at intermission. For the evening the Panthers as a team finished with 15 3-pointers with Thellman finishing with five and senior Will Yasenka also connecting from deep.
Thellman finished with 17 points and senior Jesse Fornataro also cracked double-digits, finishing with 10 points, for the victorious Panthers.
Riverside travels to Class 1A Vincentian Academy Friday Night for a non-section game.
