Ellwood City Public Library Activities For Week Of March 16th

The Ellwood City Area Public Library offers a variety of weekly activities. Information is available by calling the library at 724-758-6458.

HOURS

Hours are Monday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Please remember no one is available to take your calls unless it is in the hours listed above.

Activities taking place this week include.

MONDAY, MARCH 16

• 10:30 a.m. – “Music and Movement,” come and sing, play instruments and dance.
• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.

TUESDAY, MARCH 17

• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 18

• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
• 1:30 p.m. – “Preschool Storytime,” preschool age children can participate in interactive stories and songs.
• 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. – “Tween and Teen After School Club,” snacks and activities for grades 5-12.

THURSDAY, MARCH 19

• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
• 2:00 p.m. – “Classics Book Group,” will be discussing the book “Brideshead Revisited” by Evelyn Waugh.
• 6:00 p.m. – “Just You and Me Book Group,” will discuss the book “Gus and Glory” by Sarah Guillory.

FRIDAY, MARCH 20

• 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – “Coloring for Adults,” bring your own material or use the libraries.
• 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. – “Adult Knitting Group,” Come and socialize while you work on a project.

SAVE THE DATE

Saturday April, 11 Brunch with our Library. Doors open at 10:00 a.m. and brunch begins at 11:00 a.m. This year it will be held at Christ Presbyterian Church 325 Spring Ave. Ellwood City. Tickets are $30 and are available at the library.

Spring Book Sale. Thursday April 23, 24 and 25. It is open the hours of the library. The library will not be taking books for this event.
