The Lady Wolverines fell 58-25 to Quaker Valley on Thursday night at Lincoln High School on its senior night.
Sophomore Jadyn Allwine led all Ellwood City scorers with seven points. Teegan Patterson and senior Ava Lucarelli each scored six points in defeat.
Mimi Thiero poured in a game-high 20 points for Quaker Valley (15-6 Overall, 12-2 Class 3A-1) who led 30-14 at halftime.
The Ellwood City girls basketball teams completes its regular season with a record of 3-19 (2-12 Class 3A-1). Sophomore Cara Kreitzer finished the season with 290 points (13.2 average) and compiled two games during the regular season with 20 or more points.
The Riverside Lady Panthers, 52-13 winners over New Brighton on Thursday, have qualified for the WPIAL Playoffs and will be one of the six MAC Conference teams represented in the Class 3A playoffs.
