The Ellwood City Wolves Club Den 11 held their November meeting on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at the Connoquenessing Country Club.
President Mike DeOtto reminded members to reserve their places at the annual Christmas Party on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. The Party will be held at the Connoquenessing Country Club.
President DeOtto reminded members to pay their dues for 2026.
President DeOtto reported on nominations for positions on the Board of Directors which will be held at their January meeting, There is no December meeting. Positions on the Board run for three year terms.
Also discussed at the January Board meeting will be some By Law additions. The club has to determine percentages of fund raising promised to their on-going scholarship programs through the Pittsburgh Foundation, as well as adjusting the Annual Budget.
Herman Petti discussed the Scholarship Program handled for the Club by the Pittsburgh Foundation. The Club decided to increase two scholarships to $7500 and create two more scholarships of $2,000 each for Trade School students. They too will be handled through the Pittsburgh Foundation. It was also reported that scholarship applications will be available online December 1. Discussion centered on how do students access the scholarship applications. It currently takes 4 steps to access the scholarship application. The Club will create a poster flyer with a QR code that will directly link the student to the application form.
The Annual Club Golf Bash is scheduled for February 15, 2026 at the Sons of Italy in Ellwood City PA. Tickets will be available to Club members in December.
