BOO! Don’t be spooked or scared by a move in October, many area residents took the time to relocate during the month. This is the time of year when things begin transitioning out of the fall market and into the down season for many in real estate.

According to Redfin.com, Lawrence County home prices were up 35.9% compared to last year at this time, selling for a median price of $184,000.

More specifically, the Ellwood City housing market is somewhat competitive according to Redfin.com. The median sale price of a home in Ellwood City was $186,000 last month, up 58.5% since last year. The median sale price per square foot in Ellwood City is $115, down 14.2% since last year.
