FLEEING:
John Tindall, 22, of Ellwood City, is charged with fleeing an officer after an traffic stop on Factory Avenue on September 24th. According to a criminal complaint, and at approximately 6:01 p.m., officers apprehended Tindall after he attempted to flee the officers from near Factory Ave for speeding through multiple stop signs on a motorcycle. Police were able to detain him without incident and were advised that the registration was two years out of date and that Tindall did not possess a valid license to operate the vehicle according to the complaint.
FLEEING:
Shyanne Getty, 34, of Portersville, is charged with fleeing an officer after an attempted traffic stop occurring on September 29th at approximately 1:04 a.m. Officers followed Getty in a slow car chase before Getty bailed from her vehicle on Fifth Street where officers would detain her and a male passenger. The two would be taken to the station and pressed for information where the passenger would be released and Getty placed in holding for prior warrants for her arrest according to a criminal complaint.
POSSESSION WITH INTENT TO DELIVER:
Rachael Rue, 50, of Ellwood City, is charged with Possession with Intent To Deliver a Controlled Substance after an investigation and arrest warrant led to arrest. According to a criminal complaint, and on September 16th, Ellwood City police conducted surveillance at approximately 4:35 p.m. and observed drug trafficking, and later attempted to take her in to custody inside the Keystone Bar. Outside the bar police explained the warrant for her arrest and she admitted that she did have controlled substance in her possession. According to the complaint she was found with two clear bags of suspected cocaine and a later search of her vehicle led to additional narcotics and a search of her cell phone found evidence of text message conversations that Rue was instructing buyers to retrieve narcotics from within her vehicle while it ws park outside the Hazel Manor Bar and Keystone Bar. The investigation established probable cause that Rue was actively engaged in the distribution of controlled substances on and prior to September 16th. Rue was transported to ECPD and later lodged in the Lawrence County Jail on $25,000 bond the complaint relates.
DUI:
Geoffrey Bokor, 23, of Ellwood City, is charged with DUI after a report of a vehicle in a ditch near Wampum Avenue on August 23rd. According to a criminal complaint, and at approximately 10:49 p.m., officers on scene observed a vehicle in the ditch with no operator and police searched the area and located Bokor near Elm Way walking away from the vehicle. When police escorted Bokor back to his vehicle they observed him to be heavily intoxicated and unable to speak or walk without slurring and tripping. Bokor had refused the Standard Field Sobriety Tests requested by officers until after Bokor spoke to his parents who arrived on scene. Bokor was subjected to a blood test and was released to his parents according to a criminal complaint.
PUBLIC INTOXICATION:
Blake Zeigler, 24, is charged with public intoxication after an incident occurring on September 23rd. Police were informed Zeigler was acting suspicious near Foch Street and Madison Avenue, knocking on doors and asking for a basketball while dragging around a suitcase. Officers made contact with Zeigler who they observed to be heavily intoxicated on alcohol and narcotics. Zeigler was taken into custody according to a criminal complaint.
