Ellwood City Public Library Activities For Week Of September 1st

The Ellwood City Area Public Library offers a variety of weekly activities. Information is available by calling the library at 724-758-6458.

HOURS

Hours are Monday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Please remember no one is available to take your calls unless it is in the hours listed above.

NOTE

The Library is taking books for the book sale. Reminder: we do not take Reader’s Digest Condensed Books, Textbooks, Encyclopedias, Magazines and VHS tapes.

Activities taking place this week include.

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 1

  • CLOSED FOR LABOR DAY

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2

  • 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 3

  • 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
  • 6:00 p.m. – “Evening Book Group for Adults,” will be discussing the book “Heaven and Earth Grocery Store” by James McBride.

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 4

  • 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 5

  • 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – “Adult Coloring,” relax and color with our coloring supplies or your own.
  • 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. – “Adult Knitting Group,” come and work on your own individual projects.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 6

  • 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. – “Fiction Addiction Book Club,” they meet at the Meadery on Lawrence Ave.
