Ellwood City Public Library Activities For Week Of August 18th

The Ellwood City Area Public Library offers a variety of weekly activities. Information is available by calling the library at 724-758-6458.

HOURS

Hours are Monday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Please remember no one is available to take your calls unless it is in the hours listed above.

NOTE

The Library is taking books for the book sale. Reminder: we do not take Reader’s Digest Condensed Books, Textbooks, Encyclopedias, Magazines and VHS tapes.

Activities taking place this week include.

MONDAY, AUGUST 18

• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 19

• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
• 1:00 p.m. – “Lego Club,” come and build with our Legos.

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 20

• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
• 1:00 p.m. – “Art Club,” come and make crafts and art projects.
• 5:00 p.m. – “Movie for Adults,” call the library to see what is playing.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 21

• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
• Noon- “Hooked on Books Book Group,” will be discussing the book “Westfallen” by Ann Brashares and Ben Brashares.
• 6:00 p.m. “Just You and Me Book Group,” will be discussing the book “The Borrowers” by Mary Norton.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 22

• 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – “Adult Coloring,” relax and color with our coloring supplies or your own.
• 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. – “Adult Knitting Group,” come and work on your own individual projects.
