DON Enterprises Elm Street Program Hosting National Night Out Block Party

DON Enterprises, Inc.’s Elm Street Program will host the annual National Night Out Block Party on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 303 E North Street, New Castle, PA 16101.

“The Elm Street Program is excited to bring the community together for this year’s National Night Out, which promises to be the biggest one yet, with all of Lawrence County invited to join in the fun and celebration,” said Kenny Rice, Elm
Street Manager.

The third annual National Night Out will feature activities that strengthen partnerships between local police, first responders, and the neighborhood, while celebrating the 150th anniversary of the New Castle Police Department. The event aims to bring the community and law enforcement together to promote safety and connection. Attendees can interact with police officers, firefighters, and ambulance personnel through safety demonstrations, vehicle tours, and other activities to foster positive relationships.

The block party will be free to attend and will feature a face painter, balloon artist, games, activities, free food, and music.

The National Night Out Block Party is sponsored by DON, WesBanco, Bible Way C.O.G.I.C., the New Castle Police Department, the Pennsylvania State Police, Pennsylvania State House Representative Marla Brown, and New Castle Fire and
Rescue.
