Clifford Alfred Kennedy, 87, of Slippery Rock Twp. passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at UPMC – Jameson Hospital following a short illness.
Born May 22, 1938, in Slippery Rock Twp, he was the son of the late Alfred Heinz Kennedy and Lyda Hogue Kennedy Powell.
Clifford was an Army Veteran and attended Harmony Baptist Church. He worked as a machinist at Kennedy Tubular in New Castle until his retirement. In his younger years, he loved riding motorcycles and currently enjoyed being part of the McDonald’s Coffee Club in Shenango. His most cherished moments were spent with family.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 60 years, Nancy M. Grimm Kennedy, daughter, Tammy (Daniel) Harden of Shenango Twp; son, Chad Alfred (Pam) Kennedy of Pittsburgh; two granddaughters, Ally Harder and Madison Paige (Jacob Stephenson) Harden, and grandson, Mason Wade Harden.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Waide and Lester Kennedy.
A private funeral service will be held at the Marshall Funeral Home, Ellwood City. Rev. Matthew Bupp will officiate. Interment will follow in Harmony Baptist Cemetery.
