Monday was a day to honor those who gave their lives in service to the country.
Ellwood City hosted its annual Memorial Day Parade under sunkissed skies Monday morning. Many crowded the streets to enjoy the parade.
A tribute to fallen heroes followed the parade at Legion Park along with a community picnic at Circle Playground Heritage Park.
