Spring is here and June is just two weeks away.
Grass is growing and many homeowners are attending to their property. April started yard waste pick-ups for borough residents.
According to information made available by the Borough Code Enforcement Office, and due to the large amount of rain we have received, the borough has extended a grace period to the enforcement of HIGH GRASS and WEEDS.
The grace period is over and enforcement is starting back up.
As per Borough Ordinance IMPC 302.4, There is a height limit of SIX (6) inches for all grass and weeds.
This is the only notice you will be given and fines will start on June 1, 2025 for anyone in violation of this ordinance according to the notice made available by the office.
