Ellwood City Public Library Activities For Week Of March 14th

The Ellwood City Area Public Library offers a variety of weekly activities. Information is available by calling the library at 724-758-6458.

NOTE

  • The Library has partnered with Seneca Library District, Oil Creek Library District, Erie County Public Library and Crawford County Federated Library System for e-books. You can now use the Overdrive or Libby App. to borrow books from the above Libraries. Please call the library with any questions.

HOURS

Hours are Monday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Please remember no one is available to take your calls unless it is in the hours listed above.

Activities taking place this week include.

MONDAY, APRIL 14

  • 10:30 a.m. – ‘Music and Movement,” a program with instruments and singing for our younger patrons.
  • 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
  • 1:00 p.m. – “Book Group for Adults,” will be discussing the book “It Ends With Us” by Colleen Hoover.
  • 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. – “Tween and Teen Afterschool Program,” 5th grade and up can come and do crafts, play games and have snacks.

TUESDAY, APRIL 15

  • 1:00 p.m. – “Preschool Storytime,” stories and singing for preschool children.
  • 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 16

  • 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
  • 5:00 p.m. – “Movies for Adults,” movie nights are back. Call the library for the movie of the month or stop in and get a list of the movies.

THURSDAY, APRIL 17

  • 10:30 – 12:30 p.m. – “Adult Card Club” bring your own games or use what we have. We supply the coffee, tea, and water.
  • 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
  • 1:30 p.m. – “Classic Book Group,” will be discussing the book “East of Eden” by John Steinbeck.
  • 6:00 p.m. – “Pysanky Egg Decorating,” Carol Novosel is back to help us make beautiful eggs.

FRIDAY, APRIL 18

  • 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. – “Adult Coloring,” come and socialize while you color on your own material or ours.
  • 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. – “Adult Knitting Group,” bring your own project and come and get ideas from other knitters.

SATURDAY, APRIL 19

  • 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. – “Earth Day,” we will be at Earth Day in Ewing Park.
