Lori Anne Campbell, affectionately known as “Boo-Boo” or “Jama,” of Ellwood City passed away peacefully on Monday, April 7th, surrounded by the love of her family. She was 65 years young.
Lori was the heart and soul of every room she entered – a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and fiercely loyal friend. She was the glue that held generations of relationships together, offering strength, support, and a special kind of love.
She is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Helen (LaVerne) Wilson; sister, Betty Lee (Jack) Milsom; brother, Richard (Deb) Wilson; and nephews, Bobby and Jeff. She is survived by her loving husband, Daniel Campbell; her children Jesse (Erica) Vale, Renee (Andrew) Hiser, Kristen (James) Ford, Autumn Ruth, and Austin Oberc; her sisters Karen Lash and Gail (Bill) McCance; and her most cherished treasures – her grandchildren: Kaylee, Taylor, Dylan, Easton, Eli, Max, Italia, Jack, Delilah, Everly, and Jude.
Lori extended her love far beyond family. She was a second mom to many – offering her time, home, advice, or a hot meal to anyone who needed it. Her legacy is carried by countless “adopted” kids, neighbors, and friends whose lives she touched with her selfless spirit.
She found joy in life’s simple pleasures: baking seasonal treats, bird watching from her many feeders, tending to her thriving plants with her gifted green thumb, and most of all, creating memories with her grandchildren. If you’ve ever lived near the line of Lawrence and Beaver, chances are, Lori’s kindness has found you too.
Though her physical presence will be deeply missed, Lori’s light and love remain eternal – immortalized in The Land of the Dead, and in every soul she helped lift.
Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, from 6 until 9 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City.
