The Ellwood City Area Public Library offers a variety of weekly activities. Information is available by calling the library at 724-758-6458.

The Library has partnered with Seneca Library District, Oil Creek Library District, Erie County Public Library and Crawford County Federated Library System for e-books. You can now use the Overdrive or Libby App. to borrow books from the above Libraries. Please call the library with any questions.
HOURS
Hours are Monday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Please remember no one is available to take your calls unless it is in the hours listed above.
Activities taking place this week include.
MONDAY, APRIL 7
- 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
3:00 – 4:00 p.m. – “Tween and Teen Afterschool Program,” 5th grade and up can come and do crafts, play games and have snacks.
TUESDAY, APRIL 8
- 10:30 a.m. – “Baby Laptime,” interactive stories and songs.
- 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
- 7:00 p.m. – “Twenty-Something Book Group,” will be discussing the book “Something Close to Magic” by Emma Mills
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 9
- 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
THURSDAY, APRIL 10
- 10:30 – 12:30 p.m. – “Adult Card Club” bring your own games or use what we have. We supply the coffee, tea, and water.
- 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
- 6:00 p.m. – “Just You and Me Book Group,” will be discussing the book “Honest June” by Tina Wells
FRIDAY, APRIL 11
- 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. – “Adult Coloring,” come and socialize while you color on your own material or ours.
- 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. – “Adult Knitting Group,” bring your own project and come and get ideas from other knitters.
SATURDAY, APRIL, 12
- 10:00 a.m. – “Reading Buddies,” children have the chance to read to the dogs.
- 10:45-11:45 a.m. – “STEAM,” the Ellwood City Gifted program will be running the program.
- Noon – “Bookworms Book Group,” will be discussing the book “Hatchet” by Gary Paulsen
- 2:00 p.m. – “Hooked on Books Book Group,” will be discussing the book “Halfway to Harmony” by Barbara O’Connor
SAVE THE DATE
6:00 – 7:30 p.m. – April 17th come and do Pysanky Eggs with Carol Novosel. Tickets are $30.00. We are limited with seating.
