Ellwood City Public Library Activities For Week Of March 31st

The Ellwood City Area Public Library offers a variety of weekly activities. Information is available by calling the library at 724-758-6458.

The Library has partnered with Seneca Library District, Oil Creek Library District, Erie County Public Library and Crawford County Federated Library System for e-books. You can now use the Overdrive or Libby App. to borrow books from the above Libraries. Please call the library with any questions.

HOURS

Hours are Monday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Please remember no one is available to take your calls unless it is in the hours listed above.

Activities taking place this week include.

MONDAY, MARCH 31

• 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
• 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. – “Tween and Teen Afterschool Program,” 5th grade and up can come and do crafts, play games and have snacks.

TUESDAY, APRIL 1

• 10:30 a.m. – “Preschool Storytime,” interactive stories and songs.
• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 2

• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
• 6:00 p.m. – “Evening Book Group for Adults,” will be discussing the book “A Thread of Grace” by Mary Doria Russell.

THURSDAY, APRIL 3

• 10:30 – 12:30 p.m. – “Adult Card Club” bring your own games or use what we have. We supply the coffee, tea, and water.
• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.

FRIDAY, APRIL 4

• 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. – “Adult Coloring,” come and socialize while you color on your own material or ours.
• 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. – “Adult Knitting Group,” bring your own project and come and get ideas from other knitters.

SATURDAY, APRIL, 5

• 11:00 a.m. – “Brunch with the Library,” at Joey’s Event Room. Doors open at 10:00 a.m. $30.00 per ticket. Tickets are available at the Library. There will also be raffle baskets at the event.

SAVE THE DATE

• 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. – April 17th come and do Pysanky Eggs with Carol Novosel. Tickets are $30.00. We are limited with seating.
