The Ellwood City Area Public Library offers a variety of weekly activities. Information is available by calling the library at 724-758-6458.

The Library has partnered with Seneca Library District, Oil Creek Library District, Erie County Public Library and Crawford County Federated Library System for e-books. You can now use the Overdrive or Libby App. to borrow books from the above Libraries. Please call the library with any questions.
HOURS
Hours are Monday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Please remember no one is available to take your calls unless it is in the hours listed above.
Activities taking place this week include.
MONDAY, MARCH 10
- 10:30 a.m. – “Music and Movement,” interactive musical program for preschool.
- 1:00 p.m. – “Adult Book Group,” will be reading the book “A Thread of Grace” by Mary Doria Russell.
- 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
- 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. – “Tween and Teen Afterschool Program,” 5th grade and up can come and do crafts, play games and have snacks.
TUESDAY, MARCH 11
- 10:30 a.m. – “Baby Laptime,” stories and singing for our youngest patrons.
- 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
- 7:00 p.m. – “Twenty-Something Book Group,” they will be discussing the book “The Island” by Natasha Preston on Zoom.
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 12
- 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
THURSDAY, MARCH 13
- 10:30 – 12:30 p.m. – “Adult Card Club” bring your own games or use what we have. We supply the coffee, tea, and water.
- 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
- 1:30 p.m. – “Classics Book Group,” will be discussing the book “The House of Mirth” by Edith Wharton.
FRIDAY, MARCH 7
- 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. – “Adult Coloring,” come and socialize while you color on your own material or ours.
- 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. – “Adult Knitting Group,” bring your own project and come and get ideas from other knitters.

April 5th at Joey’s Events Room “Brunch with the Library” doors open at 10:00 a.m. and brunch starts at 11:00. Tickets are $30.00 and can be purchased at the library. Seating is limited. Please call the library with any questions.
