The Ellwood City Moose has some exciting news and events to share with the Ellwood City community.
The club is featuring a big kitchen re-opening this coming Wednesday, February 5th with a new chef, new kitchen hours and extensive new menu. The club has a dinner fundraiser and sub sale on March 1st.
KITCHEN ANNOUNCEMENT
The Ellwood City Moose Lodge 93 is proud to announce that starting Wednesday, February 5th, 2025 we will be offering a brand-new menu (including Beer-battered Fish on Fridays), regular kitchen hours (Tuesday – Thursday 4-9pm, Fridays and Saturday 3-10pm) created and served by our new kitchen operator, manager and chef, Tom Gaus.
Tom is a retired Veteran of the United States Army with a Degree in Sales & Marketing and 30 years of experience in cooking and leadership skills. Tom has experience in many different restaurant environments from owning his own restaurant to recently managing the kitchen at a local bar/restaurant. Tom is looking forward to the opportunity to work for himself again and create a menu experience that all can enjoy. He lives by 3 words – Positive – to be successful and to make this Moose Lodge a place to enjoy great food and atmosphere, Motivated – with energy to make things happen and Focused – on making great quality food that everyone can enjoy. Tom is excited to share his passion for cooking at the Ellwood City Moose Lodge, meeting many great people and serving their needs.
Please welcome Tom Gaus as our new chef on Wednesday, February 5th, 2025. Below is a sample of the new menu items: Smash Burgers, Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich, various Salads, Tacos & Quesadillas, Baby Back Ribs, Wings, Beer Battered Fish Dinners (Friday only) and various Appetizers.

The Ellwood City Moose Lodge is holding a Benefit Dinner on Saturday 3/1 6-10PM for our members Carla & Rod, who were involved in a head-on collision in November, both sustaining life-altering injuries. Rod has had 2 orthopedic surgeries with the potential of needing future surgeries. Both have not been able to return to work due to the extent of their injuries. We are asking for your participation in a fundraiser Dinner to lessen their financial burden. The Ellwood City Moose will provide pasta & meatballs, chicken & Haluski. Entertainment will be provided by DJ Franco. Side dishes/desserts are welcome. Donated basket items would be greatly appreciated, monetary donations are now being accepted at the club. The 𝐄𝐥𝐥𝐰𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐛 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐞 is BACK! 12” 𝑰𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒂𝒏 𝑺𝒖𝒃 – $10 – proceeds go to the Ellwood City Moose. Subs can be ordered in advance at the club (pre-paid). Pick up pre-ordered subs at the club on Saturday, March 1 from 10am-12pm. Additional subs will be available for purchase in town starting 9am and at the club starting 10AM.
Ellwood City Moose Board Elections will be held in April. We are currently looking for members to volunteer for fund raising events, help with general maintenance and help to run our club. Board positions up for election include President, Vice President, Treasurer, Chaplain, Trustee and Administrator.
