Ellwood Area Family Center Hosting Youth Basketball Sessions

The Ellwood Area Family Center will be hosting two youth basketball sessions beginning later this month.

The basketball sessions will be held at the Ellwood Area Family Center on the North Side of Ellwood City on Tuesday evenings beginning on Thursday, January 23rd.  The clinic will run four five consecutive Thursdays and will be available for ages 3-5 and ages 6-8.

Each weekly session will be one hour in length.  Ages 3-5 will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and ages 6-8 will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The cost for the program is $45.00 per applicant and players are asked to bring their own ball.  All participants will receive a t-shirt.

Due date for registration is January 18th for all interested participants.

Due to the availability of time slots and facility size, there will be a cut-off after the first 12 applicants. The Family Center apologizes in advance for any inconvenience but space is limited at the indoor facility.  Please make all checks payable to: DiBuono Rec. Absolutely no forms will be accepted after January 18, 2025.

“Our goal is to enhance basketball in the community,” says John DiBuono. “We plan to teach the game of basketball through the development of individual skills, fitness, teamwork and sportsmanship.”
