Mark Eric Mielke, 61, of Wampum passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at UPMC – Jameson Hospital.
Born July 11, 1963 in Shirley, Long Island NY, he was the son of Samuel L. Mielke Sr. of New Beaver Borough and Patricia Panella Smail of New Brighton.
Mark attended Mohawk High School and graduated from Lawrence County Vo-Tech. Following high school he served in the United States Navy. Mark owned and operated T-Bones Paramount in Wampum and worked as a machinist for Precision Feed Screws in New Castle. He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan.
Survivors include his father Samuel (Carol) Mielke; mother Patricia; his fiancée and companion of 13 years, Faye Bashour; two sons, Matthew Mielke of Youngstown and Jacob Mielke of Milwaukee; six sisters, Sandy Miles Wolfe of Texas, Debra Mielke Cooper of Maryland, Wendy Widner Keech of Arizona, Kimberly Miles Frederick of Hillsville, Tammy Miles Waters of Virginia, and Jacque Miles Snyder of Rochester; two brothers, Michael James Mielke of Georgia and Samuel L Mielke, Jr. of Wampum, 18 nieces and nephews and many good friends.
He was preceded in death by his uncle Carl Mielke and nephew Steven Michael Edwards.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday January 11, 2025 from 4 until the Memorial Service at 6 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 341 Main Street Wampum. Rev. Mike Wimer will officiate.
