The Wolverines remained unbeaten with victories over Shenango and Riverside this week. Ellwood City now holds a 12-0 record on the season. On Thursday, Ellwood City defeated its rival Riverside 207-224 at Connoquenessing Country Club. SIMPLE ASSAULT: Tyler Cox, 22, of Ellwood City, is charged with Simple Assault and Harassment after an incident on September 1st. According to a criminal complaint, and at approximately 8:31 p.m., officers were dispatched to Loop Street for a disturbance and were advised of a physical domestic with an male actor fleeing the scene. The male, later identified as Cox was located near Evans Drive and Cox told officers an argument turned physical. OCTG Imports Continue To Impact Operations At Tenaris

OCTG (oil country tubular goods) imports continue to impact operations at Tenaris and its operations in Pennsylvania and Ohio. This according to Tenaris US President Luca Zanotti on the matter. Richard “Rich” Bofinger, age 87, passed away peacefully at his home on September 3, 2024. He spent his childhood in Punxsutawney with his father, Albert Bofinger. Richard always spoke fondly of several uncles, aunts and cousins who assisted in his upbringing. Following high school he served in the US Air Force for four years.
