Bottom Of Lineup Carries Riverside Past South Park In WPIAL Quarterfinals

The bottom of the lineup helped Riverside cruise to a 11-1 mercy rule victory over South Park in the WPIAL Class 3A Quarterfinals on Monday at Neshannock High School. Sam Barber, Sean Hayes, and Christian Lucarelli combined for six of the Panthers’ 10 hits in the victory. The trio combined for three RBIs and two runs scored. Lucarelli also earned the victory on the mound for Riverside, going the full five innings, allowing one earned run and striking out seven batters.  He walked four and allowed only two hits. Myron Dellinger, 72, of Ellwood City, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024 at UPMC Shadyside. Born in Lincolnton, North Carolina on July 19, 1951, Myron was the son of the late Bernice J. Dellinger and Dorothy L. Mr. Carl R. “Duke” Campbell, 87, of Park Gate passed away on Friday, May 17th, 2024 at his residence with his loving family at his bedside. Tenaris To Adjust Workforce At Its Facilities In PA & OH, Koppel Shop Not Affected

Houston, TX – Tenaris has announced it will be reducing its workforce at its facilities in Pennsylvania and Ohio due to an influx of imports of OCTG into the United States. Approximately 170 employees at the company’s facilities in these two states will be impacted by the layoffs. The steel shop in Koppel, Pennsylvania, is not affected. Imports of OCTG account for nearly half the U.S. market demand.
