Dale E. Shaw, 97, of New Castle (formerly Ellwood City), passed away peacefully on Friday, August 23, 2024, at home with his family. Born April 22, 1927, in New Castle, Dale was the son of the late Frank M. and Bertha M. (Patterson) Shaw. He married the late Donna M. (Neuman) Shaw on July 21, 1950. The Ellwood City boys golf team ran their unbeaten streak to ten games on Thursday with a 198-242 victory over Union at Delmar Golf Course. Three Wolverines fired rounds in the 30’s in the victory – Jordan Keller led the charge with a 36 while Gino Biondi and Braden Roberts each chipped in with rounds of 39.
