Aaron Lake scored 12 points and Chuckie Schweinsberg connected on two critical fourth quarter 3-pointers to lead Ellwood City to a 35-32 rivalry victory over Riverside Tuesday evening at Lincoln High School.
Lake scored six points in the fourth quarter that saw the Wolverines storm back for the victory.
Ellwood City trailed 15-11 at halftime and 25-19 after three quarters.
Kaleb Servick connected on two 3-pointers for Ellwood City. Lake hauled in 10 rebounds for a double-double.
Logan Young scored a game-high 13 points (7 rebounds, 2 blocks) for Riverside. Drake Fox finished with 10 points in defeat for the Panthers.
Ellwood City (5-3 Overall, 2-0 Section 3A-1) next travel to New Brighton on Friday for a 7:30 PM. section tip.
