Roy Vega, 37

Roy Vega, 37, of Pittsburgh, formally of El Paso, TX passed away Sunday, December 15, 2024, at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh. He is the son of Jose and Maria Theresa (Median) Vega. He was born January 1, 1987, in El Paso, TX
He is survived by his son; Kingsley Elijah Vega, of El Paso, his brothers; Joe Vega and his wife Jessica Vega, Edgar Vega and his wife Yong Vega, his sisters; twin sister; Stephanie Vega and his youngest sister Priscilla Vega and husband Michael, all El Paso, his grandmothers; Sara Medina and Angela Vega of El Paso, his nieces and nephews; Joevannin Vega, Cielo Vega, Soyoung Vega, Somi Vega, Soyu Vega, Blue Wiskerchen Eternity Torres, Serenity Torres, and Forest Torres, and best friend; Jorge Garcia and John Paul Papa.
Roy was born and raised in El Paso, TX. He was a graduate of Santa Teresa High School and received his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Texas at El Paso. He and his father owned JVC Homes, LLC. Roy loved basketball and was an avid sneaker collector. His three greatest passion was his family, his sneaker collection and basketball. Roy never met a stranger and had friends wherever he went. He was a loving father, son, brother, uncle and true friend to all he met in his life.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers; Jose Vega and Leopoldo Medina, his uncles: Raul Vega, Sr, Jorge Vale, his aunt; Juanita Medina, his cousins; Raul Vega, Jr, Miguel Vega and Arlen Chavira
Cremation Arrangements entrusted to the TURNER-HYDE FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES located at 6th and Park in Ellwood City.
