All Aboard Ellwood Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the industrial and railroad heritage of Ellwood City, is now accepting memorial and honorary donations to help fund its ambitious project to establish an Industrial and Railroad Museum.
Donation envelopes are available at local funeral homes, offering a meaningful way to honor loved ones while contributing to a lasting legacy in the community. Additionally, donations can be made to celebrate a living loved one’s special occasions, such as birthdays, anniversaries, or other milestones. These donations will directly support the development of the planned Industrial and Railroad Museum, a community-driven project that pays tribute to the pivotal role trains played in the region’s industrial growth.
A Living Tribute to Our Heritage
The proposed museum, designed as a replica of the historic train station that once stood in Ellwood City, will celebrate the legacy of the railroads through interactive exhibits, historical artifacts, and educational programs. It will serve as both an educational resource and a vibrant cultural destination for the community.
“This museum is a tribute to the ingenuity and resilience of our region,” said Ray Santillo, President of All Aboard Ellwood. “Through memorial donations, community members can honor the memory of their loved ones while contributing to a project that preserves and celebrates our shared history.”
Memorial Contributions
Memorial donations are a meaningful way to create a lasting legacy in the name of a loved one. These contributions will help fund the museum’s construction and its key features, including:
- Historical Exhibits exploring the evolution of railroads and their impact on industry.
- Interactive Displays offering hands-on experiences with railway models and industrial tools.
- Educational Programs designed to engage students and visitors of all ages.
- Community Events celebrating Ellwood City’s industrial and railroad heritage.
Donations of any size are welcomed, and each memorial contribution will help bring the vision of the museum closer to reality.
