Tracie L. Haswell, 60, of Ellwood City, passed away peacefully while surrounded by family on the evening of November 10, 2024.
She was born May 11, 1964, in Ellwood City, PA, to the late Lloyd E. Sr. and Norma H. (Bubb) Haswell.
Tracie was a member of the Lincoln High School, class of 1982. Tracie enjoyed her work as an EHS Administrator at Kawneer Company in Cranberry Twp. with her “work family”. She shared kindness and a sense of humor that could brighten anyone’s day. She dedicated much of her spare time volunteering to help animals through the ELLWOOD CITY~LOST PAWS account she created in 2012 to help reconnect pets to their owners and find furever homes. She enjoyed spending time in nature with her dog Max. She also had an eye for finding the beauty in her surroundings, as shown by her enthusiasm for photography.
Tracie is survived by her son John (Sara) Todd of California, daughters Chelsea Todd and Kylie Todd both of Ellwood City, granddaughters Bonnie and Maisie; nephews David A. Haswell of Tennessee, William Haswell of California, and Sam, William, & Mike Makarevich of PA; nieces Christine Hamovitz, Marci Mazenko of PA & Nicole Kosco of Ohio, and many, many cousins who she loved seeing every year at the annual reunion she hosted in Moraine State Park. She will be fondly remembered as a devoted animal lover who could never turn away a stray, and most of all, her ever giving love to her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Tracie was preceded in death by her siblings Elaine G. Haswell, Carol D. Wilfong, David “Zeke” T. Haswell, and Loyd “Skip” E. Haswell, and her niece Michelle L. Hardy.
