The Ellwood Area Family Center will be hosting two youth basketball clinics beginning mid-October.
The basketball sessions will be held at the Ellwood Area Family Center on the North Side of Ellwood City on Tuesday evenings beginning on October 15th. The clinic will run four five consecutive Tuesdays and will be available for Grades 3-4 and Grades 5-6. The clinic will be coach by Bob Rak.
Each weekly session will be one hour in length. Grades 3-4 will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Grades 5-6 will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The cost for the program is $45.00 per applicant and players are asked to bring their own ball. All participants will receive a t-shirt.
Due date for registration is October 9th for Grades 5-6 and October 11th for Grades 3-4.
Due to the availability of time slots and facility size, there will be a cut-off after the first 15 applicants for the Grades 3-4 clinic and 24 applicants for the Grades 5-6 clinic. The Family Center apologizes in advance for any inconvenience but space is limited at the indoor facility. Please make all checks payable to: DiBuono Rec. Absolutely no forms will be accepted after October 9th 2024.
“Our goal is to enhance basketball in the community,” says John DiBuono. “We plan to teach the game of basketball through the development of individual skills, fitness, teamwork and sportsmanship.”
