Darlene L. Wisbith, 77, of Dennis Lane, Beaver Falls passed away Sunday, September 15, 2024 surrounded by loved ones at her residence following a brief illness.
Born October 6, 1946 in Fairmont, WV, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Betty Markley Sapp. She was married to her sweetheart Jerry Wisbith with whom they raised their 3 children in Chewton “on the Beach.”
Darlene was a member of the Ellwood City Saxon Club, where she spent years shooting darts and playing pool. She enjoyed helping people, leading her to her former employment driving van for special needs children for the Ellwood City school district. She was a lifelong Steelers fan. Darlene enjoyed her potted plants and made good use of her green thumb. She enjoyed being a puzzle-head. Her most cherished times were spent with her family.
Survivors include two daughters, Carrie Wisbith of Ellwood City, and Kristine Wisbith Nulf of Evans City; her son, Jason Wisbith of Chewton on the Beach; her brother, Jack Sapp; and three sisters, Donna Cole, Debbie Squicquero, and Denise Sheets; 6 grandchildren, Travis Olinger of Ellwood City, Daniel (Ashlee) Edwards of Rogers, OH, Paige Wisbith of Salem, OH, Kira Wisbith of Ellwood City, Nicolas and Nathan Nulf of Ellwood City; 3 great grandchildren, Mathew and Wyatt Wisbith, and Kallie Edwards.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Her husband Jerry; Brother, Freddie Sapp; Her in laws, Eddie and Mary Wisbith; Her son, Edward Wisbith.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday September 20, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 341 Main Street, Wampum.
