Alan R. McBride, 64, of North Beaver Township passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at his residence.
Born March 4, 1960 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Mont L. and Margaret E. “Peg” Cotton McBride. He was married for 35 years to Debra A. Himes McBride.
Alan worked on his family’s dairy farm until his retirement. He graduated from Mohawk in 1978 where he was a member of the FFA. He was also a member of the Big Beaver Grange and the Westfield Presbyterian Church. He took great pleasure and enjoyment working on the farm and cherished time spent with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Debra; son, Nathaniel McBride of Boston; daughter, Natalie McBride of Columbus; sister, Kathy McBride of New Galilee; brother, William E. McBride of New Galilee; two sisters-in-law, Linda McBride and Diana Heasley; brother-in-law, David (Janice) Himes, and many nieces, nephews, and good friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Leslie and James McBride.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday August 15, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 341 Main Street Wampum.
Family and friends will also be received on Friday August 16, 2024 from 10:00 am until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 am at the Westfield Presbyterian Church. Rev. Bobby Griffith will conduct the services.
Interment will follow in Westfield Cemetery.
