John M. Frum, 59, of Wampum passed away Thursday, July 25, 2024 at his residence following a courageous eight-and-a-half-month-long battle with complications following surgery.
Born December 27, 1964 in Beaver Falls, he was the son of the late Floyd Frum and Margaret Baleskie Frum Mangano. He was married to Lynda L. Kirkwood Frum.
John was employed as a shift supervisor at Double R. Enterprises in New Castle for 30 years. He was a member of the LMBA and VFW in New Galilee and was affiliated with the New Galilee Church of the Nazarene. He loved hunting and camping at his camp in Kennerdale, his truck, cruising on his Harley Davidson, and his dog Hunter. Family was the most important part of John’s life.
Survivors include his wife Lynda of 32 years; son, Shane Frum of Wampum; daughter, Christy (J.D.) Hoover of Pittsburgh; two sisters, Karen (Companion Charlie) Banicki and Connie McRoberts both of East Palestine, and two brothers, Michael (Linda) Frum of East Palestine and Timothy (Wendy) Frum of New Galilee.
A celebration of John’s life will be announced at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Marshall Funeral Home, Wampum.
