The Ellwood City Area Public Library offers a variety of weekly activities. Information is available by calling the library at 724-758-6458.

The Library has partnered with Seneca Library District, Oil Creek Library District, Erie County Public Library and Crawford County Federated Library System for e-books. You can now use the Overdrive or Libby App. to borrow books from the above Libraries. Please call the library with any questions.
HOURS
Hours are Monday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Please remember no one is available to take your calls unless it is in the hours listed above.
Activities taking place this week include.
TUESDAY, JULY 2
- 10:30 a.m. – “Jumpstart to Kindergarten,” for kids starting Kindergarten in the fall.
- 12:30 p.m. – “Kindergarten-3rd grade” program designed for kids in this age group for learning through games and activities.
- 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
WEDNESDAY, JULY 3
- 10:30 a.m. – “4th-8th Grade,” a program designed especially for kids in this age group. Activities, crafts and speaker all geared around our outdoor adventure theme.
- 1:00 p.m. – “Storytime,” for all ages. Reading books, singing songs and playing.
- 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
- 6:00 p.m. – “Wednesday Evening Book Group for Adults,” will be discussing the book “Verity” by Colleen Hoover.
THURSDAY, JULY 4
- The Library will be closed for Independence Day.
FRIDAY, JULY 5
- 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. – “Coloring for Adult,” a program to come and relax and relieve anxiety as you create a beautiful picture.
- 12:30 – 2:30 – “Knitting for Adults,” you can work on individual projects or get advice from other Knitters.
SAVE THE DATE:
Starting in June the Library will begin collecting books for the book sale in October!
Summer Schedules for Children’s Library are on our website – ellwoodcitylibrary.com and in the Library. Call the Library to register.
August 16th we will be hosting a wine walk from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $25.00 and can be purchased at the Library, from a Board member, from All Aboard Ellwood members and on Eventbrite. This event will feature local wineries, craft beer, distilleries and food trucks.
