Lincoln High School Class of 2024 Graduation Set For Thursday

The Lincoln High School graduating class of 2024 will receive their diplomas on June 6th at 7:00 p.m. at the Sgt. Leslie H. Sabo Jr. Memorial Auditorium.

Evan Magill, son of Kim and Tom Magill, plans to attend Penn State University to become a physics teacher or professor. Evan’s activities include Track and Field, NHS – Vice President, Student council member, and Carpenters Project. His achievements include National Recognition by College Board for Rural and Small town, High Honor Graduate, Lions Club Student of the month of September, Barbara Lotze Scholarship for future physics teachers, 2024 Jack Butz Humanitarian Scholarship, Lawrence County Bar Association Law Day Scholarship, Wolves Club Den #2 of Ellwood City Scholarship, Mary DeCaro Memorial Scholarship, Team Emma Forever Memorial Scholarship, Laurie J. Greco Memorial Scholarship, Ellwood City High School Class of 1957 Scholarship, Dennis M. Norman Memorial Scholarship, and Nixon STEM Award.

Claire Marie Noble, daughter of Colonel Ryan and Dena Noble, plans to attend PennWest Clarion University on an athletic scholarship to play women’s basketball. She plans to pursue a degree in Secondary Education/Mathematics. Claire’s activities include Girls Varsity Basketball 4-year Letterman (Captain), Girls Varsity Volleyball 4-year Letterman (Captain), Riv-Ell BC3 Entrepreneur Program, LHS Peer Leadership Program, National Honor Society, Senior High Student Council (Treasurer), French Club (Treasurer), Volunteer for Divine Grace Parish food booth at EC Arts and Crafts Festival, SLAAM AAU Basketball – Elite national team, Renaissance Club Volleyball – Elite national team, and Divine Grace Parishioner. Her achievements include President’s Award for Educational Excellence, Peer Leadership Award, Girls Varsity Basketball: All-Section Team, Girls Varsity Volleyball: All-Section Team, All-WPIAL Team, All-State Team, High Honor Roll, and Lions Club Student of the Month. Keira Gabrielle Rozanski, daughter of Gary and Tammy Rozanski, plans to attend University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg to study English and Creative/Professional Writing. Keira’s activities include Sophomore Class Secretary, Senior Class Secretary, National Honor Society Secretary, Club Hope Executive Board Member, Extreme Leadership Representative, Spanish Club President, Varsity Softball Co-Captain, Varsity Volleyball, Meals on Wheels Volunteer, and Ellwood Food Bank Volunteer. Her achievements include Pitt Greensburg Dean’s Award, Holy Redeemer Social Club Scholarship, Tommy Novosel Scholarship, Club Hope Bill Fleck Memorial Scholarship, Howell and Lois Williams Memorial English Scholarship, Twelfth Grade Leadership Award, and Top Ten Graduate.

Erica Summa, daughter of Wendy and Eric Summa, plans to Kent State University to major in Advertising. Erica’s activities include NHS, Senior High Student Council, Would help in different tutor groups, and Volunteer at Christmas in the Park. Her achievements include Howell & Lois Williams Memorial English Scholarship, Kent State Merit Scholarship-$52,000, and Top 10.

Ryan Turner, son of Laura and Eric Turner, plans to attend Grove City College to major in Finance and/or Accounting. Ryan’s activities include Varsity Swim (Captain), Varsity Track, National Honor Society (President), History Club, and German Club. His achievements include 9th, 10th, and 12th Grade Leadership Award (LHS), Two Time Winner of the American Legion School Award, High Honor Roll, Wolves Club of Ellwood City “Pro Bono Publico” Award, Ellwood City Lions Club Student of the Month for December, and Outstanding German Student Award. Achievements include 1st Place in AA States for 200 Freestyle Relay (2022),400 Freestyle Relay (2022) and 7th Place in AA States for 50 Freestyle (2023), 8th Place in 100 Freestyle (2023). Scholarships include Rotary Club Baccalaureate Scholarship, Ellwood City Municipal Women’s Club Scholarship, Wolves Den II of Ellwood City Scholarship, Ellwood City Class of 1957 Scholarship, American Legion Essay Award, Howell & Lois Williams Memorial Biology Scholarship, Tri County Principals/Athletic Directors Scholarship, Justin David Hart Memorial Scholarship, Caroline Knox Academic Grant, and Grove City College Alumni Merit Award.

Nicholas Wise, son of Gina and Raymond Wise, plans to attend Penn State University and to work in the medical field. Nicholas’ activities include Class President, National Honors Society Member, Captain of Cross Country team, and Captain of Track & Field Team. His achievements include April Lion’s Club Student of the Month, Howell & Lois Williams Memorial Biology Scholarship, Howell & Lois Williams Memorial English Scholarship, Dr. Milton Caplan Scholarship, and Anthony Pietrcollo Scholarship.

Talan Young, son of Raechell and Dean Young, plans to attend Kent State University to become an Epidemiologist for the CDC. Talan’s activities include French Club President, NNHS member, Student Council Member, Peer Leadership Club member, and Riv-Ell Entrepreneurship Program Member. His achivements include Presidential Award, Outstanding French Student, and Outstanding Bio Student.
