The Lincoln High School Musical Theater will present the musical, Schoolhouse Rock Live! on APRIL 12-14 in the high school auditorium.
Under the direction of Rick Hudson, this musical is based on the 1970s cartoon, and teaches lessons with clever, catchy tunes. We hope you can join us for Schoolhouse Rock Live! at Lincoln High School.
The Emmy Award-winning 1970s Saturday morning cartoon series that taught history, grammar, math and more through clever, tuneful songs is not only making a small-screen comeback, it will light up the Lincoln High School stage. Schoolhouse Rock Live! follows Tom, a nerve-wracked school teacher who is nervous about his first day of teaching. He tries to relax by watching TV, when various characters representing facets of his personality emerge from the set and show him how to win his students over with imagination and music, through such songs as “Just a Bill,” “Lolly, Lolly, Lolly” and “Conjunction Junction.” This fast pace musical will bring its infectious zest to a cross-generational audience.
