Rodger Dale Swogger, 85, of New Beaver Borough passed away unexpectedly Thursday, January 25, 2024 at his residence.
Born April 16, 1938 in New Castle, he was the son of the late Hubert Lee and Goldie May Snyder Swogger.
Rodger spent his working years as a meat cutter and also managed the meat department in grocery stores in the area.
Survivors include his wife Carlotta Germanski Swogger; four daughters, Kimberely (Paul) Wolanski of New Castle, Stacey (Frank) Walker of Campbell, OH, Deborah (Greg) Borichevsky of Butler, and Melissa (James) Ryhal of New Castle; two sons, Rodger Dale (Donna) Jr. of Edinburg and Brian (Mindy) of Bessemer; 20 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter, and his brother, Chauncey (Rose Mary) Swogger of Wampum.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.
In honoring Rodger’s wishes, no services will be held.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Marshall Funeral Home, Wampum.
