Please be advised, there are several new stop signs placed throughout the Borough.
According to information made available on the Borough website, there are three locations within the borough that have had the addition(s) of new stop signs. A motion to adopt an ordinance establishing the stop intersections passed at the November Borough Council Meeting by a 4-3 vote. Councilman George Celli and Councilwomen Judith Dici and Jan Williams voted No.
Residents and drivers are asked to exercise caution when approaching the intersections noted below.
Stop Street Intersecting Street Direction of Travel:
- Fourth Street and Franklin Avenue Northbound & Southbound
- Hazel Avenue and Union Street Northbound & Southbound
- Ninth Street and Crescent Avenue Northbound
