Sheryl Demmer, 76

Sheryl A. Deemer, 76, of Ellwood City passed away peacefully and into the arms of her loving Savior, Jesus Christ. She was the Daughter of the late Bert, Sr. and Boneta (Goff) Milnes and was born October 22, 1946 in Beaver Falls.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years and the love of her life; Gary Deemer, her daughters; Traci Chewning of Ellwood City, Lynda Deemer of West Pittsburg, Brenda Deemer of Ellwood City; her two granddaughters; Rebecca Ahmad and her husband Shahin of Ellwood City, Miranda Chewning of Ellwood City, and one sister-in-law; Mary Ann Milnes of Zephyrhills, FL.

She was a 1964 graduate of Riverside High School. She met her future husband Gary Deemer in high school. They dated for three years and were married April 15, 1967. They were blessed with daughters. Gary and Sheryl were very active with their daughters, especially as band boosters. They attended all the football games, traveled all over the US to support their daughters. Sheryl loved to vacation with her family, especially going to their hunting camp. Sheryl and Gary loved to cook and more than anything, they just loved being together. Sheryl and Gary were long time members of Harmony Baptist Church. Sheryl was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a dear friend to all those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by other sisters; Lydia Toth, Evelyn Pasquale, and her brothers; Bert Milnes, Jr and Wilfred Milnes

Friends may call on the family on Sunday, September 17, 2023 from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9-pm at TURNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES. The family will also receive friends from 10:00AM-11:00AM, on September 18, 2023 at Harmony Baptist Church with Funeral Services following at 11:00Am with Pastor Jeff McKay, officiating.

Interment will be in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery.
