Dorothy A. Myers, 94, of Ellwood City passed away, surrounded by her family on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Adolf and Sophie (Blaskowitz) Zduniak and was born August 10, 1929, in Ellwood City, PA.
She is survived by her children; Bruce Myers and his wife Kathy of Ellwood City, Deb Steckman and her husband Kip of Butler, Bill Myers and his wife Dee of Ellport, Charles “Chick” Myers and his wife Melanie of New Castle, Tammy Vincik and her husband Fred of Ellwood City, Jamie Myers and his wife Cheryl of New Castle, Mike Myers and his wife Peg of Ellwood City, eighteen grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren, one sister; Catherine Cassalandra of Ohio, her special neighbors; Bob and Peri Malcolm along with numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. She is also survived by her loving dog, Mickey.
Dorothy attended Lincoln High School. She met and married the love of her life, Charles L. “Mouse” Myers on August 2, 1947. She and her family loved camping, relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. She loved going to casinos with her sisters traveling as far as Branson, MO to have a great time. She enjoyed crocheting, going to plays, especially The Red Barn Theater. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and she leaves behind many wonderful friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, of 60 years, Charles L. “Mouse” Myers, Jr., her daughter; Paulette Myers, One grandson; Joey Snider, one great grandson; Baby “G”, and two brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call on the family from 2-4pm and 5-7pm, Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at Turner Funeral Home with Funeral Services following at 7:00PM at Turner’s.
Interment will be in Locust Grove Cemetery.
