In a post made available Monday morning, the Borough of Ellwood City has reminded and notified its electric customers that their PayDici online payment portal is still not functioning.
The borough advises that payments are to be made in person via check, mailing a check, or calling in to make payment by credit card over the phone.

It has come to our attention that customers are still trying to pay their electric bill through the online system. This system has not worked correctly since June, as stated on customer bills and our website. We are awaiting updates from PayDici, the online bill pay provider, before we can properly process online payments. We have recently been notified that online bill pay will not be updated until the end of August. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PAY YOUR BILL ONLINE. We have had customers continue to attempt to pay their bill online and it has resulted in multiple charges from the PayDici system to the customer’s bank account. Please note, this is no fault of the Electric Department. We are doing all we can to keep our customers informed and updated as we receive updates from our provider. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused our customers, but again, we are waiting for our provider to rectify the situation. Bills may be paid by placing a check in the drop box at the rear of the municipal building, mailing a check, dropping a check off at the Electric Office window or calling 724-758-5576 to pay by credit card over the phone. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused our customers and we will continue to provide updates as we receive them from our provider.
