Viola Angelucci, 99, of Franklin (formerly of Ellwood City) passed away Monday, July 17, 2023 at The Caring Place in Franklin after a brief illness.
Born March 17, 1924 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Anna Joseph Salvati. She was married to Anthony C. Angelucci when he passed away on April 5, 2005.
For over 20 years, Viola was the manager at the Women’s Specialty Clothing in Levittown. She also worked in quality control for American Can. She was a member of the Divine Grace Parish Holy Redeemer Church where she belonged to the Christian Mother’s. Viola enjoyed dancing and attending Knights of Columbus Events.
Survivors include son, John (Susan) Angelucci of Oil City; daughter, Renee (Joe) Vaccaro of Randolph, NJ; four grandchildren, Joey Wagner, Christopher Angelucci, Brooke Markley, and Anthony Vace; nine great-grandchildren and her brother, Louis (Brenda) Salvati of Texas.
In addition to her parents and husband, Viola was preceded in death by two brothers Lawrence and Aristo Salvati and her sister Rose Setting.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday July 20, 2023 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 pm at the Holy Redeemer Church. Father Joseph Freedly will officiate.
Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
