Timothy Carl Schuster, 70, of Ellport, passed away at Butler Memorial Hospital on June 16, 2023, surrounded by his family. He was the son of the late Carl F. and Ila (Fowler) Schuster and was born July 6, 1952, in Ellwood City.
He is survived by his son; Carl T. Schuster and his wife Brianna of New Castle, two granddaughters; Nora and Maya Schuster, his siblings; Deborah Kyle and her husband James of Cherry Hill, NJ, Stephen G. Schuster and his wife Kathy of Ellwood City, John A. Schuster and his wife Kimberly of New Castle, Laurie Staples, and her husband Ted of Ellwood City.
Tim was born and raised in Ellwood City and was a 1972 graduate of Vo Tech. He enlisted in the US Navy, serving his country proudly until he was honorably discharged in 1977. He later worked for McElwain Motors and was employed by Penn Power for over 30 years, until his retirement.
Tim enjoyed fishing, especially for Muskie and Bass. He loved going to car shows and most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. Tim was a loving father, son, grandfather, brother, and wonderful friend to all who knew him.
Friends may call on the family from 5:00pm-7:00pm on Monday, June 26, 2023, at Turner Funeral Home with Military Honors commencing at 7:00pm. The Honor guard is asked to be at the funeral home by 6:30pm. A Funeral Service will follow at Turner’s at 7:00pm with Pastor Peggy Suhr-Barkley, officiating.
Interment will take place in North Sewickley Cemetery and will be private.
