Ellwood City Public Library Activities For Week Of June 12th

The Ellwood City Area Public Library offers a variety of weekly activities. Information is available by calling the library at 724-758-6458.

The Library has partnered with Seneca Library District, Oil Creek Library District, Erie County Public Library and Crawford County Federated Library System for e-books. You can now use the Overdrive or Libby App. to borrow books from the above Libraries. Please call the library with any questions.

Hours are Monday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Please remember no one is available to take your calls unless it is in the hours listed above.

Activities taking place this week include.

MONDAY, JUNE 12

• 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – “Coloring for Adults,” a program for adults to come and de-stress while coloring with either our supplies or their own.
• 6:30 p.m. – “Classics Book Group,” the group will be discussing the book “O pioneers” by Willa Cather.

TUESDAY, JUNE 13

• 10:00 a.m. – “Jump Start to Kindergarten,” a program for children entering Kindergarten in the fall.
• 7:00 p.m. – “Twenty-Something Book Group,” will be discussing the book “The Warrior Heir” by Cinda Williams Chima

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 14

• 11:00 a.m. – “Bee Awesome Program,” designed for children that finished Kindergarten through 3rd grade.
• Noon – “Book Bunch Book Group,” will be discussing the book “Judy Moody and Stink and the Mad, Mad, Mad, Treasure Hunt” by Kate Albus.
• 6:00 p.m. –“Family Story Time,” a program for babies, toddlers, pre-school aged children. Registration is requested.

THURSDAY, JUNE 15

• 10:00 a.m. – “Puppet Theater,” for children finishing 4th through 12th grade.
• Noon – “Hooked on Books Book Group,” will be discussing the book “Alone” by Megan Freeman.

FRIDAY, JUNE 16

• 12:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. – “Adult Knitting Group,” a group that meets and works on individual projects. New people are welcome.

SATURDAY, JUNE 17

• “Afternoon Tea Party” 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. June 17th at Calvin Presbyterian Church. You can purchase tickets at the Library.
