Tracey’s Home Blood Draw Services is the only business of its kind in this area and provides homebound patients the perfect option.
“My business is unique because the other big labs in the area do not provide mobile Phlebotomy services in our area,” said Tracey Freed. “That’s where I come in. For a small fee, I will come to you.”
Tracey, a devout Christian and mother of 2 daughters, Shelyn (15) and Brooklyn (11), and wife to her husband Spencer, saw a need for mobile phlebotomy services and always wanted to have a business in her hometown. Tracey said she has lived in Ellwood City her entire life, currently in Perry Township. She attended Riverside High School. In her free time, she coaches the ECLW Cheerleaders.
“An opportunity arose to have the chance to do something I love in the city where I grew up,” she said.
Tracey has been a phlebotomist for 16 years.
“I have experience in Pediatric to Geriatric draws,” Tracey said. “Also, I have been previously employed with UPMC and currently work at Quest Diagnostics as well. I love what I do!”
She opened her business in 2021.
“I provide Home Blood Draw Services,” she said. “I also can pick up and deliver urine specimens. There is a fee of $30 to come to your home for the blood draw. I then will drop the blood off at the lab and the lab will process the tests through insurance. I accept all insurances.”
Tracey said if patients schedule multiple visits they receive a discount, and scheduling for more than one person in your household brings the cost to $20 per person.

Tracey looks forward to growing her business.
“My business has been growing every month,” she said. “I have new patients and doctors getting in touch with me to set up my services. Recently, I had a patients daughter get in touch with me to start drawing blood at a new personal care facility. They opened up another facility so I started drawing blood there as well.”
She looks forward to expanding into other areas and servicing more personal care homes.
“It is really reassuring when people thank me and are so grateful for my services,” she said. “I love being able to help people that are unable or have a hard time leaving their home. It makes me happy to be here to assist them.”
